About Monique R. Dixon
My name is Monique Renee’ Dixon. I’ve been practicing as a Registered Nurse for 12 years, of which nine of those years were exclusive to Labor and Delivery, Nursery, and Mother-Baby, the other 3 years have been in the Operating Room as a circulator nurse, while maintaining PRN in the Maternal Child world. I have Certifications in Inpatient Obstetrics and Electronic Fetal Monitoring.
I graduated from Frontier Master’s Program with a Nurse Midwifery concentration on March 22/2022. Nurse midwifery is not popular in my home state of Louisiana, but it is growing. Therefore, I started a blog to help expedite the growing process through knowledge, education, and experience about all things WOMEN'S HEALTH. www.mothemidwife.com Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and closest friends.
I have one 8 year old daughter, Victoria Queen, who loves dance and gymnastics. She watch and mimic everything I do. She motivates me constantly to put my best foot forward and be the best I can be at all times.
