About Jane Singer

Jane Singer, RN, MSN, APRN, CNM, IBCLC is a certified nurse-midwife with more than two decades of experience supporting women and families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. She has been a CNM since 2003 and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant since 2006.

Jane earned her Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Prior to becoming a midwife, she spent 10 years working as a labor and delivery and nursery nurse, giving her a deep and well-rounded understanding of hospital-based maternity care. She moved to Texas in 2007 and has continued serving women with compassion, skill, and dedication.

Jane’s goal is to help women achieve the birth experience they desire. She strives to provide a home-birth–like atmosphere within the safety and support of the hospital setting, emphasizing informed choice, respect, and individualized care.

Outside of work, Jane enjoys traveling, playing the piano, gardening, and creating pottery, which she has practiced for the past seven years. She is also an active member of a large dog-walking group and has walked every weekend for over seven years. Jane is married and has three children.
