We specialize in obstetrics and gynecology, which includes the examination, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of women's health problems. All of the physicians have completed at least four years of special training after medical school and take courses regularly to keep up with the latest advances in women's care.

What Does F.A.C.O.G. Mean?

F.A.C.O.G. stands for Fellow, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Requirements include:

• Graduation from an acceptable medical school
• Completion of an approved residency program
• Passing score on a written examination
• Passing score on an oral examination which is first offered 2 years after completion of residency training

Physicians are considered board certified after passing both the written and oral examination.

Physicians are considered eligible to become board certified after passing the written examination while waiting the two years to take the oral examination.
